Recognice your Kundalini

My current writing will discuss about kundalini, extraordinary human power which is contained in Muladhara Cakra. I realize that there are so many writings about kundalini out there, although some people think about it as an evil power and the rest think as virtuous power for human consciousness ascension.

My writing is just merely showing my point of view as spiritual practitioner regarding this extraordinary power and not to spoil the current situation.

Kundalini is the ultimate hidden power of human race; it is in Muladrana cakra between rectum and genital. Muladhara cakra is the symbol of Mother Earth / Gaia / Prithvi, the power of the earth itself. This power is dynamic, feminime, and can be interpretated as yoni. That is the reason why kundalini is symbolize as inverse triangle. Naturally, it will seek its pair power, the masculine one as the embodiment of lingga in Sahasrara cakra.

Based on feminime and masculine, we learn that the universe, macrocosmic and microcosmic is made from those two dynamic-static power, yoni-lingga, yin-yang, pradana-purusa, negative-positive, shiva shakti. It makes lingga and yoni as the most powerful symbol in my perception.

It is not too important to question the exact location of kundalini in Muladhara cakra for us as the spiritual practitioner because basically the embodiement of god power is not in one place, but all over the place. There is no place in this universe that does not show the god power.

It said that the kundalini power is extraordinary; however it is unwise to awaken the power directly because it will harm the practitioner itself. Next is the illustration. Imagine that we have a car with full fuel, in the right clucth to go on, and we step the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal at the same time. And then think what will happen if we suddenly loose the brake pedal. The car will go forward in an uncontrolled way and will crush anything. This side is commonly ignored by the practitioner to find the shortest way in order to awaken the kundalini power. A great risk will be baeared for finding the truth if we ignore this knowledge.

Back to Kundalini, it is consist of 3 ½ coils. Why 3 ½ coils? The answer is very simple; it is correlated with Gunas (operating principles of universal nature). The Gunas are Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas who enlace us from change and alteration. Sattva is associated with goodness and beneficence. Rajas is ambition and desire. Tamas is folly. The other one is the half coil that is called Vikritis or transformation. Every living things posse the guna, the combination of those 3 gunas is the one that makes the different.

So, I assume that you will understand the symbol of snake with 3 ½ coils. If you still don't understand, I will briefly explain the awakening process. Before the awakening of kundalini, human will be influenced by Gunas. Below is the description of the consequence if we are influenced by the Gunas.
1. Life is influenced by Sattva will result in addiction with beneficence and restrain our wordly life.
2. Influenced by Rajas will lead in desirability only.
3. Influenced by Tamas will lead into stupidity and foolisness
Vikritis is the condition where the Gunas have beed resolved by Kundalini and its power wil goes into Sahasrara cakra through Shusumma channel. It is the meaning of enlace snake symbol, not the power of the snake goddess which is asociated with negativity, evil power, and the others.

Some of the practitioner said that the kundalini energy is hot; I however have another opinion because kundalini is a pure immense energy and can't be associated with hot and cold. It will react with the practitioner needs. Kundalini also formless, it is describe as a snake because it's passage in Shusumna form a winding condition like the snake has.

In current age which is influenced by Aquarius and help facilitates the fast transformation makes the awakening process of kundalini become much simpler. In my opinion, not the kundalini that is changed, but the universe itself facilitates the kundalini awakening process. However, the instant awakening doesn't merely mean the Kundalini will rise directly into Sahasrara cakra and gain enlightment. There is a process in those steps which will affect the practitioner "way of life and behaviour" during the kundalini journey into Sahasrara cakra.

It is better for the practitioner to cleanse the energy channel in the beginning and open the cakras point before awaken the kundalini power. There are many traditions that can be followed like reiki, gtummo, etc so that the energy channel, Shumsumma, and nadis is opened and prepared for kundalini.

Kundalini is dynamic or instable, from this trait we can say that the kundalini will react when we stir the kundalini position. That is the reason why "bandha" (binding, bond, lock) is exists in conventional method to raise the kundalini. By swelter the kundalini, it will find the way to rise up.

So the other one that is need to be concerned is that if the kundalini is not stir from its position it will still in Muladhara cakra. So, how about the current method through visualization to rise up the kundalini? The method can be applied, however it will take longer time compare to the conventional one, the principle is “through apparant for the real one". Through visualization, the practitioner will learn to visualize the rise up of the kundalini. Although it takes more time, it is safer for the practitioner. I call this method as mind kundalini. The advantage is that the practitioner can vizualize the kundalini reside in Sahasrara cakra although the real one still in Muladhara cakra.

If we refer to conventional one, kundalini (I call it the real one) will be forced to rise up through bandha and bhrada kumbha (bottle breath). When the kundalini is rising up and the channel is ready to accept the kundalini power, the result will be much better.

My last words, I pray for your journey whatever the method you are using to rise up the kundalini and let pledge to meet in the vast and immense ocean of consciousness.

OM MANI PADME HUM
